Clue/Question: The wedding reception was awesome! The newlyweds were happy to – – –
Pre-Answer: Four Words (3-letters), (5-letters), AND (2-letters) “(7-letters)”
Answer: EAT, DRINK, AND BE “MARRIED“
( . . . for tomorrow we die! No, no, no! This is a happy, happy occasion! But chances are the bride, and some others in her party, have been die-ting, leading up to the big day! They want to look just right in their dresses. And, to be fair, I’m sure a few of the gentlemen also tried to drop a few lbs, to look dapper in their suit, or tux. It probably would have been easier, for all parties involved, if they had just eloped. But, big business does their best to SELL us all on the idea of having to have the fairy princess experience. Heaven forbid we say NO to that blatant con job! It’s not always the bride who wants the big wedding though. Sometimes the insistence on the big wedding is the desire of one, or both, set of parents. Occasionally, it’s the groom who wants it! But generally, guys could give a hoot. To each their own, I guess.
Absolutely no new clue words today! However, five of the six jumbles came up as new. Two of them stumped me, and I had to back into them. Both “dariem” and “dyenob” did me in. I considered married for “dariem”, because of the cartoon, but was short an R. And for “dyenob” I was thinking embody, substituting the M for the N. I couldn’t get past those erroneous ideas. The answer letter layout was an ambitious 17-letter jumble! But, because of the great cartoon, its dialog, and the leading nature of the clue/question, I was able to figure out the answer, even with six missing letters. The layout of the answer blanks also came into play.
Great wedding reception cartoon. The bride and groom, with interlocked arms, drinking a toast. The floral centerpiece on the table in front of them. The food and drink. Just lots of great detail. Nice Sunday Jumble. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Fiesta is a party and marriages serve everything. Overall, if you have a good time, there’s no problem until you’re the one who marries.
UR, grateful for your sharing that you had issues with ‘dariem’ and ‘dyenob’…those just about gave me a headache! ….Yet again, the Indy Star left the solution fill-in spots out, so, hubby wrote out the answer lines for me….Even after I solved the answer, I couldn’t even back in to ‘admire’ and ‘beyond’! Finally got them after ignoring the paper for awhile and coming back. …. I love a challenge, but….Oy vey! …well, this should be the biggest obstacle in one’s day, right?! Have a blessed day, UR, and everyone in the Jumble-verse!
Hoyt did a great job on those jumbles, jenn! I like to give credit where credit is due. All around, I thought it was a splendid Jumble!
Sorry to hear your newspaper isn’t completely up to snuff! Send them a nasty letter! LOL!
Sounds like you have a great hubby!

Uncle Rave…Thank you so much for taking the time to let people know about my new app WORD SEARCH WORLD TRAVELER. I really appreciate the help getting the word out!
No problemo, Big Guy! My pleasure. It looks like at least one review has already come in. There might have been one yesterday too! — YUR
I had problems with those clue words as well. As far as weight loss, I was a groomsman for my cousin’s wedding. As I lived out of state, I got measured and sent them to him for the suit. But in the interim, I got sick and lost a lot of weight. Didn’t have time to get the tux redone, so it was a little large. Probably a couple sizes too big, but at least it didn’t look like a Zoot Suit. 😀
Wow, Damid! You had the reverse problem! I guess it happens both ways. But, your problem can be worked around some by pinning things back, at least to an extent. When you’re too heavy for something it generally looks worse. — YUR
