Answer: SO INCLINED
(I guess this begs the question: Is there such a thing as a high pun??? Snooty types would definitely argue NO. But, we don’t allow snooty types on this blog, now do we??? Hell’s Bells No! “Elements of Style”? “Elements of Style”?? We don’t got no “Elements of Style”! We don’t need no stinkin’ “Elements of Style”!!! BLAM, BLAH, BLAM, BLAM, BLAM!!!
Phew! Are the bandidos gone? Maybe, we can get back to the Jumble now. Would you believe . . . we actually have another two new clue words today? Yes, indeedy! Both “salsa” and “mining” have somehow eluded the Jumble mavens, until today. These words will need to be added to the – world famous – ralis95 clue word database. I think Hoyt has been enlisting his dad’s help, in coming up with new clue words. I hope Hoyt puts him on the payroll, because he is earning his keep! All of the jumbles came up as new today. None were terribly tough, for me. The answer letter layout was the toughest of today’s jumbles. My initial feeling was that the first word was going to be IN or ON. Possibly NO. But, maybe because of the cartoon’s dialog, I was able to lean into the answer.
Nice, outdoor, cross-country cartoon. It got the job done. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. The girl above the answer is Katelyn Tuohy! She just finished her sophomore year in high school, and she already owns just about every record in cross-country, and indoor and outdoor track! She’s been running varsity since the seventh grade! Look up articles on her, and be amazed! — YUR
