Answer:  ONE OF A KIND

(Initially, this is a fine numerical pun!  Definitely not the first of its kind, but even so.  I guess you had to figure that number ones would be Type A personalities.  So, they have a bit of an ego problem!  No one goes around sporting # 2 foam fingers, do they?

All of today’s clue words are familiar old friends.  However, all of the jumbles are coming up as new for me.  For some reason I had to take a bunch of looks at “lored”.  Maybe, because I’m in denial?  I also enjoyed the jumble “ecctan”, although it didn’t take me long to pick up on the “accent”.  The answer letter layout was a tidy ten letter jumble.  Nicely cryptic.  The biggest clue was the obvious omission of the word ONE in the cartoon’s dialog.  They danced around it nicely though.

Cute animated numbers cartoon.  If any of them look odd, I’d say that number nine takes the cake!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

  1. When I first saw this Jumble, I thought our paper had repeated a Jumble from 8/28/20. But, the August Jumble was about positive numbers. Vera clever! LL
