(Nowadays . . . it’s the current fashion.  Zoom, Cisco Webex Meetings, Go ToMeeting, Google Hangouts Meet, etc.  It’s how groups of people “get together” during this COVID-19 pandemic.  And, once the genie is out of the bottle . . .

All familiar old clue words today.  However, five of today’s jumbles appear to be new.  We’ve definitely seen “virred” sometime before.  The answer letter layout was a fabulous fifteen letter jumble.  I don’t think it gave anything away, but for some reason I got the answer immediately.  I had to do the puzzles this afternoon, as opposed to morning, because my newspaper stiffed me on at least two sections today.  Very unusual.  I finally got around to accessing the digital version.

Fine birthday “celebration” cartoon.  I like how the one older woman is way too close to her phone/device.  You can almost count her nose hairs!  Ugh!  I am so tired of this pandemic crapola!  I want to go see a movie . . . in a movie theater.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
