Answer: PROPHET PROFIT
(Cute. Reminds me of the saying: A fool and his money are soon parted. Don’t have access to the ralis95 clue word database, so I don’t know if there are any new clue words today. I liked the jumblings of “nutmeg” and “permit”. They were the most challenging for me. Good job with the answer letter layout. The limited different letters made it a fairly easy solve, for me though. This particular game doesn’t mean too much to me. I’m much more interested in the AFC East match ups. I’d like to see the Dolphins win, for two reasons. My gameday drinking buddy is a Fins fan, and I would like to see the Jets finish under .500. And of course, I want to see my Bills upset those stinking Patriots! And, tie the Jets in the standings! Go Bills! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Cute and unique puzzle! I had trouble with nutmeg, too, which was ironic because I learned all about fresh nutmeg for the first time yesterday, when I had a recipe that called for it, and had to make a special trip to the store for it, and learn how to grate it with a microplane grater.
And, over on the west coast — go Niners!
Oh ratz! Was having some problems with the answer and came to the blog to make sure I had all of the correct letters from the jumbled words carried down correctly. I was so intent on studying what our Unc had given us to study today that I saw the answer!
This was a great puzzle. I’m sure the guyz high fiving after coming up with this one! Revolt and permit gave me pits.
Happy New Year! Was out of town with no paper and not much internet access.
And, I must add, GO PACK! They’ve been scrappy! LL
Rogers being back makes things interesting, but with Clay Matthews out I don’t know how well they’ll do against the Niners’ potent offense. Both teams are going to have to contend with the bitter cold though. I’m sure glad I don’t have to play! — YUR
I don’t see how they play in that bitter cold! And, healed or not, I’d think that collar bone would hurt because of the cold. We’ll see. I’ll probably be watching the game with my eyes covered! I get so nervous! And lordy, the typos in my previous post. Sorry! LL
I half wanted Philly to win, yesterday. (NFC East thing) The huge Indy comeback surprised me! The Chiefs were one of my original teams to follow, as a kid, but my recent interest is because of a neighbor/friend who’s a big fan, and their worst to first (almost) performance this year. But, I’ve been a big Andrew Luck fan since he was a Sophomore at Stanford.
Today, we get the resurgent Chargers (another old childhood favorite) at Cincy. Rivers is probably the better QB, but Cincy is tough at home, and it will likely be pretty cold there, as in Green Bay. Despite the weather advantage(?) I think San Fran has got too much for the Pack to handle.
We’ll see. — YUR
