Answer: “CHOPPING“ SPREE
(Marvelous! Seasonally punny! All the jumblings of the clue words were new to me. Even one of the clue words is new. ralis95 may add “pursue” to his famous clue word database. The jumbling of “pigeon” was super easy. Just like that quasi-chain email that says as long as the first and last letter are where they should be, it doesn’t matter how you arrange the letters inbetween. Your brain is going to figure the word out anyway. The answer letter layout was pretty good too. I think switching “pursue” for “pigeon” would have made it more challenging. But, that’s just yer old Uncle being picky! The reason I’m thanking the Arkansas Online today is because some klutz at my local newspaper ran yesterday’s funny pages . . . in today’s paper! The paper says December 19, 2013. But, the two pages of comics . . . and all the games are from December 18, 2013. I get an online version in my email, but it’s only set to open if I click it from home. Otherwise, I need to use a password, which I – naturally – do not remember! Fortunately, the Arkansas Online is open and free! Otherwise, you’d all be waiting quite a while for the Jumble and Cryptoquote spoilers! Did anyone else out there have my unusual problem? Mine’s one of the Gannett papers. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
