Answer:  OVERBEARING

(You can never go wrong with a Hanna-Barbera character themed Jumble!  Not if you’re a forever ten year old at heart, like yer Uncle!  Yogi was one of the many popular cartoon characters voiced by Daws Butler.  This man was every bit as prolific – Yogi Bear, Quick Draw McGraw and Baba Looey, Snagglepuss, Huckleberry Hound, Peter Potamus, Cap’n Crunch, Quisp, Chilly Willy, Elroy Jetson, Augie Doggie, and on and on – as Mel Blanc.  He even filled in for Mel, for a short stint, voicing the character Barney Rubble, while Mel recovered from an auto accident.  And, our friend McDuck would be happy to know that he also did the voice of Reddy, in The Ruff and Reddy Show.   It’s funny how today’s Jumble, inadvertantly, ties in with yesterday’s!

No new clue words, but the jumblings “joanid” and “nivten” were new, for me.  I really enjoyed the answer letter layout.  It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out OVERBEARING, but the answer letter layout didn’t give it away!  And, you already know I loved the cartoon.  Be well and do good, fellow kids at heart!)   —   YUR
