“Common sense is the knack of seeing things as they are, and doing things as they ought to be done.” — Source Obscure
(I started off thinking that the first word was FOLLOW, as this being some kind of directive quote . . . and, because there is nothing COMMON about yer Uncle! LOL! I quickly figured out there probably weren’t that many W’s in this puzzle. Then the repeating GK’s/TH’s hit me, and the whole thing started to make SENSE. This has the ring of a Mark Twain, or Josh Billings quote, to me. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Yep, Ken. There seem to be lots of great quotes, on many many subjects, and while some just sound like they contradict each other, others clearly do. Look up quotes on “tolerance”! Whoa, boy! I will look up Juvenal, to see what I can see. Thanks, brother. — YUR
Kindness, common sense and a sense of humour go a long way.
