Cryptoquote Spoiler – 07/16/20

Jumble Spoiler – 07/16/20

Visual Description:  Gramps pays a visit to the ENT.

GAEDA  =  ADAGE,  RYUSL  =  SURLY,  ETAGEO  =  GOATEE,  HHCATT  =  THATCH   —   Giving us:  DAERLGOHAT

Clue/Question:  The problem with his ears was just wax buildup, which he was – – –

Answer:  GLAD TO HEAR

(Of course he was!  Knowing/thinking that you are losing any of your five senses is always distressing.  Especially, the one that most of us consider to be the #2 sense . . . hearing.  But, as we get older, we have to face some of the inevitable diminishings that just come with the aging of our marvelous machines.  That’s why you hear seniors yelling:  Aging Sucks!

No new clue words today.  Although all four jumbles appear to be new.  It took me a few looks to see “goatee”.  The answer letter layout was a wonderfully cryptic, ten letter jumble.  The final answer slots made it a fairly easy solve.
