Answer:  LOST TRACK OF THEM

(It’s quickly becoming a lost art.  I remember a good number of guys who had great model train setups, when I was a kid.  Now, they’re getting harder and harder to find, especially those great O Guage trains from Lionel.  No new clue words today, but most of the jumbles are new.  We’ve seen “trufoh” before.  I had a little trouble getting “herbal”.  The answer letter layout was masterful.  A beautiful jumble.  Fun cartoon too.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Sometimes I’ve got the time, Carl, and other times I don’t. If I go out to watch my Bills it’s usually going to be delayed. This week they weren’t even on TV, only Yahoo Livestream, so I was able to post it earlier.

Improper English? Wouldn’t it be he’d lose track of them. He’d is a contraction for he would. Therefore not would be He would lose track of them NOT he would lost track of them

    Jimmy,

He’d is also an acceptable contraction for “he had”. So, no. it’s not improper English. English has SO many exceptions to its rules. I’m just so glad it’s my native tongue, and I don’t have to learn it as a second language. I would, undoubtedly, get frustrated and quit!
