Clue/Question: The sofa the dog slept on was in rough shape because of all the – – –
Answer: WEAR AND “TERRIER“
(Yeah. That’s pretty stinky. Why do I suspect that Jeff came up with this one??? There were no clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new. I had to back into “metric”. It’s another one of those words for which I seem to have a mental block. I remember, back in the ’70s, there was the big push to convert to the metric system, here in the U.S. It was slow going – inch by 2.54 centimeter – but we were making progress, until the effort was disbanded in 1982. Right around the same time that SOMEONE had the solar panels removed from the White House! Don’t get me started, folks. The answer letter layout was nicely cryptic. Another fine jumble. The cartoon is cute, with the doggie on the ratty couch. And if you couldn’t tell from that, the picture on the wall should have helped you figure out that he/she is a terrier. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
“The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.” — Helen Keller
(Sight is the physical sense, while vision is more about attitude. Attitudes are largely driven by nurture, conditioning and experiences. When those formative things are of a positive nature you are more likely to have an attitude that enables vision. Be well, be positive and do good, friends.) — YUR
