Clue/Question: The undercover cop bought the Rolex from the street vendor because – – –
Answer: IT WAS A STEAL
(Most street vendors deal in knockoffs, but I guess this guy likes to throw in the occasional stolen watch, from time to time. I suppose it makes for good word of mouth. “No! They’re real, man. I took it to a jeweler, and they confirmed it for me.” Not that most legitimate jewelers would do such a thing, but I’m sure that there are some that look the other way, and don’t ask questions. There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new again. I thought that “alatuc” was a very challenging jumble. The answer letter layout gave away nothing. And, the cartoon was entertaining. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
