World Bloggers Call
for Action & Change

It may sound like an overkill to ask people to raise their voices above the loud cacophony of ‘me first’ drowning the cries for help from a growing contingent of disenfranchised, dispossessed, and unaccounted for, sleeping on our streets. In fact, it almost sounds like a cruel joke.
However, as it’s Blog Action Day, and millions of bloggers do it so exactly to give voice to that rising crowd, we’ve found 10 reasons why, indeed, there are valid and rightful reasons for anyone to raise their voices today in America, circa second decade of the millennium.
BUT, before we go any further, consider this: after hastily assembling this post, we awoke to the sad realization that arguably the most pressing issue of our time was badly overlooked: climate change. So let’s add it as a sort of hors concours.

Answer:  STEADFAST

(A good stinky pun.  I’m not sure how many sprinters use treadmills for training though.  Milers and marathon runners probably use them more.  But, what do I know?  We have another new clue word today, in “flask”.  More work for our friend, ralis95!  All the jumbles came up as new, for me.  The answer letter layout was decently cryptic.  The cartoon was pretty . . . pedestrian.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(Tough) Cryptoquote Spoiler – 10/17/15

Japanese writer Haruki Murakami

Memories warm you up from the inside.  But they also tear you apart.”   —   Haruki Murakami

(Ah, yes.  That combination of past pains and what ifs.  We all have them, from time to time.  I guess the trick is to not dwell on them.  Sometimes that’s easier said than done, but it’s something we have to do if we expect to move forward.

This one took me some time to decode.  No single letter words, no words with double letters in them, and not the most obvious author we’ve ever seen.  This is the first quote from Mr. Murakami since I’ve been posting these spoilers.  I bet we’ll be seeing more in the future.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
