Clue/Question: Being the principal of a high school had seemed like such a good idea, – – –
Answer: IN PRINCIPLE
(A great homophonic pun! Those are two of the English words that are very confusing. As we’ve seen, there are the two spellings, but there are three different meanings, with two of them being of the “al” spelling. There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new, for me. The answer letter layout is nicely cryptic, and I think this Jumble may have been a little tough for some to figure out, right away. Not as big a gimme as some of the other recent ones, at least. The cartoon does a great job of showing why she regrets her decision. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
