Answer:  WASNT THE CASE

(Hey.  I like this!  A nice play on words, and a nice follow up to yesterday’s Jumble.  There were no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles were new.  We’ve definitely seen “aveew” before.  They all came to me very quickly though.  The answer letter layout was decently cryptic.  There was nothing obvious there.  The cartoon is fantastic.  We have the precinct captain taking a big case away from a detective.  While in the background we have the bounty hunter from yesterday, bringing in his prisoner.  Nice tie-in, bud.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world:  the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.”   —   George Bernard Shaw

(So, to effect any real change in this world I guess it takes the unreasonable man.  Adapt when you have to, but don’t be afraid to try to change the world, friends.  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR
