Visual Description: Bracing for more bills.
GADEA = ADAGE, IRCIE = ICIER, LNUTEN = TUNNEL, TERXOP = EXPORT — Giving us: AEIERTNNOR
Clue/Question: With so much dental work needed, they joked about having an orthodontist – – –
Answer: ON RETAINER
(A great pun! I can’t tell from the reduced size cartoon if either of the kids are wearing either braces, or retainers. But, I got the gist of the joke, regardless. There appear to be two new clue words today! Both “tunnel” and “export” did not show up on my copy of the ralis95 clue word database. Very surprising, as both words are very common. This will give ralis95 a little work to do! Three of the jumbles came up as new, with only “gadea” showing up in my list of Tags. The answer letter layout was an expert level jumble! I can see some people struggling to sink their teeth into today’s answer. Nice little family scene cartoon. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Whether EXPORT is new or not, it gave me as much trouble as IMPORT usually does! Those dreaded vowel beginning words. Will I never learn to outsmart them!??
I still wear my retainer from time to time—I can tell when I need it. Shhhhh, don’t tell my doc!
That is some set of braces in that pic Unc!
Grand puzzler! LL
The full sized copy I printed out looks like everybody except Dad has braces. Though Junior doesn’t look like he has anything at all. But his mouth is open to show off what Mom and Sis have. 🙂
Thanks, Damid! — YUR
