Clue/Question: When the owls made their plans, they were – – –
Answer: IN CAHOOTS
(I like it! You don’t hear the phrase all that often, these days. The origins are little murky, but it just has a cuter, less ominous sound to it than conspiring. We actually have a new clue word today! I was surprised to find that “choppy” was not on my copy of the world famous ralis95 clue word database. I’m sure it will be entered in his jumble word repository in no time. Three of the jumbles came up as new. We have definitely seen “tuyoh” before. The answer letter layout was nicely cryptic. Not obvious, at all. Owls can be cute, when they’re not being a little creepy. They’re pretty menacing looking in Jeff’s cartoon. I don’t think they’re intending to scare the chipmunk, but eat him instead! But, hey! That’s nature. I’ve tried to give you less ominous looking owls. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
