Answer: LICKETY–SPLIT
(Uh oh! WordPress does not like the word lickety! Hopefully, our Canadian friends are on-board with our American vernacular! There were no new clue words today, and only two of the jumbles appear to be new. We’ve had both “lihyl” and “skycit” in the past. “Hilly” is a clue word that spells out in alphabetical order. And, I can’t remember when we last saw “pickle”! The answer letter layout was not obvious, in the least. A fine jumble. I always enjoy Jeff’s period cartoons. It looks like a good, old-fashioned candy counter. Fun pun! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
