Answer:  UNDERSTANDABLE

(I guess they couldn’t grasp the gravity of the situation!  There were no new clue words today, but five of the jumbles came up as new.  I know we’ve seen “penweh” before.  The answer letter layout did a great job of keeping the answer hidden.  This was kind of a word replacement pun for comprehending.  A fine cartoon, with a great likeness of Albert Einstein.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

  1. Very apropos of the current pseudo-controversy between BoB & Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, an embarrassment to the former and absolute non contest win for the latter (and everyone else). As the late Sen. Patrick Moynihan used to say, everyone’s entitled to an opinion, but not their own facts. Cheers

  2. I was happy to get all of the jumbled words unjumbled and the puzzler solved today! So many letters and one word…OY! I had a list of five letter words. The husb told me one of them was correct. I used UNDER and when I started diagramming the remainder of the letters I saw the remainder of the answer. Seeing it made it seem so easy. Good Sunday jumbler!! LL
