Visual Description: Lunch break at Hoyt & Knurek Enterprises.
FYMIL = FILMY, FYITF = FIFTY, CENBOK = BECKON, ROXVET = VORTEX — Giving us: FLFIKORT
Clue/Question: The warehouse equipment operator began his midday meal with a – – –
Answer: FORK LIFT
(Kinda hard eating a salad without lifting a fork, huh? Cute pun. No new clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new. “Filmy” is another word that spells out in alphabetical order. The answer letter layout was good too, but it’s tough hiding an answer like today’s. Great cartoon. Takes me back a few years. Notice the bonus clue Jeff gave us in the background? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
The answer wasn’t easy for me; took the whole day to finally figure it out. The last gasp try before coming here to see what the answer was. 🙂
Lovely pun! I saw it quickly though. Sometimes, you just see it, I guess.
BECKON certainly was not easy. And the answer was not a given either. When I saw FORK it was like …what?? Then I culled it out the letters and there the answer was! YIKES! FORK LIFT!!! 🙂
Damid I am so glad to know that I am not the only one working on a puzzle all day (well, you know, not literally sitting there). Sometimes more than one day!!
Take care all. LL
