(I wonder if Lyda ever used this?  Hmm.  The ever popular abacus theme makes its annual return.  None of the clue words were new, but all of the jumbles came up as new.  I didn’t find any of them difficult.  The answer letter layout was the best jumble.  It did a commendable job of disguising the answer.  But, the answer was no strain on the brain.  The cartoon is full of detail, but due to the reduced Jumble in the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle I think I’m probably missing out on a lot.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(Hey!  One man’s trash is another dog’s treasure.  Making mistakes is a big part of life.  We learn more from them, than we do from the victories.  Guy is known primarily as a chef and restaurateur, but his Food Network show:  Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives has made him a pop culture star.  The food featured in the show is always great comfort food.  Nothing lo-cal, or necessarily healthy, about it.  Vegans and health-nuts will have to surf past this show.  I find the show very entertaining.  Good job adopting the spiky bleached blond hair too.  His natural look was pretty mundane.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
