(A very good, stinky pun!  We even have another new clue word today, in “tirade”.  I hope ralis95 reads today’s email, and updates his world famous clue word database accordingly.  Most of the jumbles were also new, with the exception of “timsag”.  Three C words in a row was a little surprising.  I thought the answer letter layout was outstanding.  Before picking up on the pun, I thought that the second word might be IT.  The great cartoon, with its video cameras and monitors, really helped to make the solve much less difficult.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Sunday Cryptoquote Spoiler – 01/22/17

(Too many teetotalers refuse to acknowledge that many many people are fully capable of drinking in moderation, and do not, as a rule, drink to obliteration.  I’d be willing to bet that a good number of the teetotalers are control freaks.  To each their own.  It seems that Ms. Astor has been our only quotable Nancy to date, since I’ve been posting these spoilers that is.  How about spreading the wealth a little!  Try Nancy:  Sinatra, Reagan, Pelosi, Wilson, O’Dell, Walker, Lopez, Lieberman, Culp, or Giles, etc.  I’m relatively sure that some of these ladies have said something fairly memorable.  Especially Giles!  She’s a hoot, and very bright.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
