Jumble Spoiler – 03/18/15

Answer:  BACKLOG

(This was one of those Jumbles where you just look at the picture and the letters, and you don’t even need to read the clue/question!  It probably didn’t hurt that one of the clue words was “aback”.  Subliminally, that might have set the whole thing up.  We have one new clue word today, in “ballot”.  Somebody needs to alert ralis95!  His clue word database needs another update!  All of the jumbles came up as new, for me.  I actually like the answer letter layout . . . as a kind of stand alone jumble.  A very masculine, macho drawing today.  I half laugh / half shudder at the majority of these pickup truck commercials.  They are so manipulative.  I even considered buying one, at one point about 10 years ago, because of their VERY effective marketing.  But I, figuratively, slapped myself back to my senses.  I’m a suburban dad who mainly drives back and forth to the office.  If I need some sheet-rock, or plywood, I bring my son with me to Home Depot or Lowes and we strap it to the roof of the car, drive home with the flashers on, and try to avoid steep hills.   If you own a boat, or trailer, or you live in the sticks, or you work in construction, etc. then owning a truck makes sense.  Otherwise, you are just fooling yourself.  Well, really you have been fooled.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
