(This immediately put me in mind of Darren Stevens, of Bewitched!  I loved the show as a kid.  But one of the highlights of the show, for me, was when the boss, Larry, would catch Darren in some preposterous situation, and Darren would have to explain that it was all part of the latest ad campaign for . . . whatever.  He would finish the explanation with a catchy slogan.  They were usually kind of sing-songy . . . like today’s quote.  More often than not Endora was behind Darren’s predicament, and when he escaped . . . as the hero, her mood swung sharply, from giddy to utter disappointment.  A great sitcom that had a very impressive run.  Be well and do good, friends.  Oh, don’t forget.  Beware the Ides of March!)   —   YUR

Answer:  PURR HIS REQUEST

(I think the guys are putting some extra effort into these Sunday ones!  Usually, having the television on doesn’t distract me too much, but I had to turn it off to solve this one.  The clue words were all old faithfuls, and I got them all very easily.  Surprisingly, all of the jumbles came up as new, for me.  “Accept” is one of those words that spells out in alphabetical order, and the jumble QAYURR might have stood out, for some.  The answer letter layout could have been a little tougher, but it wasn’t terribly obvious.   Great cartoon.  She looks like a stereotypical cat-lady.  No offense to cat people!  You all know I’m an animal lover.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend, folks.  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR
