Clue/Question: The little green man from outer space felt alone and – – –
Answer: ALIENATED
(Very cute cartoon. Mr. Bill Morrison is quite accomplished! He has worked as an illustrator for Disney, and for “The Simpsons”. He also served as a director for “Futurama”, one of my son’s favorite shows! And, beginning in 2018, he will serve as the Editor of MAD Magazine. I wasted a good amount of my paper route money on MAD Magazine, and assorted comic books.
No new clue words today, however three of the jumbles did come up as new. We’ve seen “pymet” before. But, “empty” is one of those words that spells out in alphabetical order. The answer letter layout was also a nice jumble. The cartoon shows the skills of a true artist. My newspaper does not get Roswell, but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it in others. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
The papers I look at don’t carry Roswell either. But did he order a BLT and a Coke?
LOL! I suppose he could have, Damid. Would that have somehow been relevant to ETs? — YUR
We don’t get Roswell either! But, I’m sure it is an excellent cartoon as Mr. Morrison submitted an EXCELLENT jumble!!!! ALIENATED–how great is that. I got the clue words in OK fashion, sure did not breeze through them. Actually looked up TEMPY to see if it was a word. DADGUM vowel starting words!!!
Take care all. LL
YUR, I have no idea, but in crossword puzzles, one of the clue/answer combinations is Cafe Food/BLT. 🙂
