(Awesome!  A stinker of a silly pun!  Nice long puzzle for mid-week, too.  No new clue words, but I really liked the jumbling of “thrive” and “bakery”.  The answer letter layout was absolutely fantastic.  Good job, Hoyt.  the cartoon was unremarkable, but it certainly got the point across.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

    Well, they can’t all be masterpieces. The next batch I’m working on are my best yet. I’ve been inspired from my weekend with all my colleagues to raise my game. We’ll see.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle. Octet had me for a second….then when you see it, you think–what else could it have been????
