Answer:  STOLE HIS ART

(Did ‘e now, guvnah?  That’s about the extent of my Cockney, folks!  I could Google some for ya, but what’s the dilly?  This stinky pun seems fresh though.  I can’t remember the boys going in this direction.

This is a rare jumble/clue word day.  All four clue words are on the ralis95 clue word database and all four jumbles have been used before.  The only one to give me pause though was “bicers”.  The answer letter layout was an excellent eleven letter jumble.  Artfully cryptic.

Fun art theft cartoon.  The victim looks more like an artist than a collector to me.  Not that this was the toughest solve, but I think it would’ve been a little easier had the cop been a British bobby.  Fun Friday Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
