(A blockbuster of a stinky pun. But I’m not really getting the setup. I’m not really up on the movies of the last few years, but I can’t think of a Steven Spielberg movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Or, a Dwayne Johnson movie about a cartoonist. I think this whole setup is just Jeff sticking it to his buddy “Brad”.
All four clue words have been used before. It’s been quite a while since Hoyt has used “hairdo”! Two of the jumbles are coming up as new, but we’ve definitely seen “nalts” and “pnite” in previous Jumbles. None of them tripped me up though. The answer letter layout was an elegant eleven letter jumble. I wasn’t picking up on the pun until I rewrote it as vowels and then consonants.
Great likenesses of Steven Spielberg and Dwayne Johnson. Not quite sure who Brad is supposed to be. Definitely NOT Brad Pitt. I guess it could be the cartoonist Brad Diller, but I don’t know. Maybe they’re both big WILCO fans? Unless this is some crazy life story of our pals Hoyt and Knurek, directed by Spielberg . . . and starring Johnson and . . . Brad Pitt??? THAT would be hilarious! I really didn’t get this Jumble. I mean I got the words and the answer, but the cartoon ✍️ was a mystery to me. Who in the world 🌎 is Brad? It’s kind of an odd name. I don’t know any Brads 🤓. Sounds like a nerd to me. I do remember Brad from Fast Times at Ridgemont High. He got caught with his 🍆 💦 in his hand watching Phoebe Cates come out of the swimming pool 🍈🍈. I was at a certain age when I first saw that movie. I think I broke the VCR from rewinding that scene so many times. 😛
Speaking of being of a certain age, the AARP folks over there 👉 made 11 claims y’day with a mere 5 by their 👸 🙋🏻♀️. *She* seems to be back from Covid-19 😷 but still not posting as much. Still gets over 100k unique views per day! 🤥

“Finally”??? Dude, it’s only April the 13th! It should be mid to upper 50s in the Boston area, but you’re going to see 85 today! Why do so many numb nuts celebrate abnormally warm/hot weather??? SMH
Nothing surprises me about the “unique views” on the unofficial official Jumble site. They made me an offer, before that site was even envisioned, but I politely turned them down.
