(And . . . you don’t wanna know what he calls her! A decently stinky Jumble pun. One statistic says that 50 percent of all marriages in the U.S. will end in separation or divorce! That is a pretty sad number. The reasons are varied, but the biggest ones seem to be infidelity and finances. Me and the missus are coming up on 37 years. It hasn’t always been pink in the palace, but the good times outnumber the bad. I’m all for personal freedoms, but it seems to me that maybe it should be a little harder to get married. So many don’t really know what they’re getting into.
Basic and shameless Jumble clue words! I thought that “lahhet” was a healthy jumble, even though we have had it before. We’ve also seen “mahes” in a previous Jumble. The other two appear to be new. The answer letter layout was a crafty ten letter jumble. It did a fine job of disguising the final answer. The quotation marks in the final answer slots were a help.
Great supermarket scene cartoon. The ex-wife is accusing her ex of wearing a scowl, but it sure doesn’t look like she is exactly wearing a smile. I can’t quite make out the name of what looks to be some kind of cereal on the shelf. Some kind of Flakes. I liked the deli counter guy talking to the other woman customer in the background.
