(A fantastic stinky pun! Nobody wants a lollipop flavored like any vegetable. Yuck! People want fruit flavors. Maybe butterscotch, or caramel, or something else sweet. But asparagus, or broccoli, or brussels sprouts??? How about turnip or radish pops? No thanks! That would be a hard pass. Kids can’t be fooled.
All of today’s clue words are on the ralis95 clue word database. I think it’s been quite a while since we’ve seen TORRID. All of the jumbles are coming up as new for me. I didn’t find any of them to be too tough. The answer letter layout was a tenacious ten letter jumble. I don’t think it gave anything away. Because of the clue/question, I picked up on WORTH right away. Then A, and then the punny part, LICK.
Great cartoon of the unusual farm stand. Ol’ farmer Bob seems to be in some kind of world of his own. I think he needs to get away from the farm every now and again.
