“Freedom is not worth having if it does not connote freedom to err.” Mohandas Gandhi
(This is a marvelous, and very true, statement. It is one of the reasons why we need to re-examine most of our “zero tolerance” policies. Most especially, as they apply to our children. Too many – if not all – of these “zero tolerance” policies take common sense and good judgment out of the equation. We cannot allow the dull and lazy rigid-mindedness of these policies to prevail over wisdom and levelheadedness.
It took me so long to figure out that “ISS” was “ERR”! Although, my instincts were good about all “B”s being “I”s and “ZXP” being “NOT”. But, I couldn’t fathom a word with “ONNOT” in it! Not until I figured out that the last word was “ERR”.
Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
