Clue/Question: The hot air balloonists were able to see the Sun come up because they were – – –
Answer: EARLY RISERS
(Where’s Toto? Where’s the Wizard?? Where’s Phileas Fogg and Passepartout??? Whenever I see the wicker gondolas for hot air balloons I think of those two movies: “The Wizard of Oz” and “Around the World in 80 Days” – 1956 version. Great movies with great casts! We had all old favorite clue words today, however three of the jumbles came up as new. We’ve seen “treejs” before. The answer letter layout was a beautifully cryptic jumble. And, a fine cartoon. Would make a nice Folgers commercial. We had a great week of guest cartoonist, didn’t we? Thanks for the treat, guys! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
