Clue/Question: The Kangaroos were winning the basketball game because of all their – – –
Answer: “CO–HOP–ERATION“
(I’ve heard of wheel-chair basketball and donkey basketball. And I’ve heard of kangaroo boxing. But I’ve never envisioned kangaroo basketball. Their upper limbs look kind of weak, compared to their very impressive lower limbs, but with the advent of the “Air Bud” movies . . . why not? Animals doing human activities can be very entertaining. And, if nothing else, the very idea can make for an amusing Jumble!
No surprise that all of the clue words have been used before. I’ve made a few suggestions – some of them even completely “politically correct” – to the guys, for new clue words, but so far just crickets. Makes you wonder if they even bother to read our blog anymore! At least three of the jumbles are new. But we have definitely seen “nhett” in a previous Jumble. They were all a slam dunk for me today. The answer letter layout though was another twisting turnaround jump-shot of a twelve letter jumble! A fair dinkum jumble, Hoyt! Good on ya, mate!
The cartoon is jam-packed with hilarity! Besides the kangaroo players – two of them executing a beautiful alley-oop – on the court, there is also an announcer and color team of a duckbill platypus and a koala bear. Not totally sure which is which, but that really doesn’t matter. They’re all really cute. A fun finally Friday Jumble! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
