Clue/Question:  He announced when Mount Rushmore would be completed to give people a – – –

Answer:  HEADS UP

(Yes, not a SHADE UP!  And, definitely not BUTTS UP!  LOL!  For whatever reason, it took me a lot more time than it should have to get this answer.  And, I was 99% certain that the second word was UP!  Mount Rushmore is one of the go to scenes for a lot of the Jumbles, and I’m pretty sure that HEADS UP has been an answer to some other past Jumbles.

The respite for ralis95 has been short lived, as David L. Hoyt has given us another new clue word in “ABUZZ”.  The world famous clue word database continues to swell!  All of today’s jumbles appear to be new, though none of them tripped me up.  The answer letter layout did though!  Maybe having UP lead the way was designed to throw us off a little.  I don’t know.  But, I was surprised that a seven letter jumble made me think.

Kind of an unusual period piece cartoon.  For some reason, the people look like they would be from an earlier period, than from 1941.  But, I sure as Hell wasn’t around back then, so what do I know?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
