A little girl is laughing and playing frisbee with her family – Floodgate Footage

Answer:  UP TWO NO GOOD

(I guess some twins are always stuck in the terrible twos!  And, I guess you might call today’s Jumble pun a homophonic-numeric pun!  Have you ever noticed – especially on social media sites – so many folks don’t seem to know the difference between TWO, TO and TOO?    Of course they’re the same people who screw up THEY’RE, THEIR and THERE.  And many write ARE when they mean OUR, and THEN when they should write THAN!  And of course YOUR when they actually mean YOU’RE.  Believe me, I’m no grammar angel.  I know I’ve probably screwed up EFFECT and AFFECT, and I’ve likely used THAT when I should’ve said WHICH, and vice versa.  But some of these folks are beyond the pale.

All of today’s clue words are longtime residents of the ralis95 clue word database.  Three of the jumbles do appear to be new.  I can confirm that we have seen “litug” in previous Jumbles.  The answer letter layout was an elegant eleven letter jumble.  It almost reads like some kind of Chinese/Indonesian name!  LOL!  My name is Wongu Todopo!  Pleased to meet you, Wongu!  Don’t mind me, folks.  I just do this for my own amusement.

Great cartoon of ten year olds up on the roof.  Mom looks pissed!  Frisbees and small balls are famous for getting stuck on the roof, or in the gutter.  Another big one is shuttlecocks!  Oh, and those water pressure rockets, and just about anything else that gets thrown/launched in the air.  Fun Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Clue/Question:  The earth’s top and bottom weren’t getting along because they were – – –

Earth From Space Background Cartoon Clipart Vector - FriendlyStockAnswer:  POLAR OPPOSITES

(I think I could’ve gotten today’s answer even without the help of the clue words.  The cartoon and the clue/question set it up perfectly.  Some days it kind of feels like the world is fighting itself.  With all the earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions.  It’s probably just pissed with us!  Kind of ironic how we’re spending so much money, and effort, to see if there is water on Mars, and if the planet could – somehow – sustain life.  All while we continue to degrade the planet that we’ve already got!  For the time being at least.

No new clue words today, and surprisingly only one new jumble!  Only “pilepr” is coming up as new.  Once again, I had a little trouble getting “pastor”, but I didn’t need to back into it, or anything.  The answer letter layout was an impressive fourteen letter jumble.  But almost unnecessary, considering the cartoon and clue/question.

Really cute cartoon!  All the poor moon can do is look on in disbelief.  Let’s all work to making the earth whole and sustainable again.  Only a fraction of the 1% could possibly afford a Plan B.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
