Clue/Question: They successfully drilled for water, and it helped with everyone’s – – –
Answer: WELL–BEING THERE
(A slightly unusual stinky pun. The “THERE” is a little extraneous. But, I doubt that it threw anyone. So many of us take clean potable water for granted, but for millions of people around the world – including here in the U.S. – it’s rare, but indispensable. That is one of the many reasons why I object to hydro-fracking. Sure, it can be done safely. But, there are many incidents of it going awry, and spoiling the surrounding groundwater.
The string of new clue words has definitely quieted down. Our good friend, ralis95, can enjoy the springlike – for him at least – temperatures. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with “huglc” being the only one that we’ve definitely seen before. They all came quickly to me this morning. The answer letter layout was a massive fourteen letter jumble. Wonderfully cryptic, Hoyt! But, with the great cartoon, and the hyphenated first final answer word, this was not a terribly tough solve.
Cute cartoon of folks out west. They all look very satiated to soon being saturated. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
