Answer:  SLOW TO A CRAWL

(A Jumble worthy of The Discovery Channel, or maybe even the National Geographic channel.  Possibly narrated by David Attenborough!  I wonder if he would ever mention that it was a stinky pun?  He’s a very sophisticated gentleman.  From a very proper British family too.  But at age 95 he might just figure what the heck!  Do the Brits even say “heck”???  I’ve heard some say “Back off Boogaloo”.  But that’s for later.

All of today’s clue words are tried and true.  Three of the jumbles are coming up as new, but we’ve definitely seen “crasf” in past Jumbles.  The answer letter layout was another terrific twelve letter jumble.  It was more than adequately cryptic.  The L’s and W’s, and the answer slots layout, were the big clues for me.

Fine cartoon of a convoy of centipedes.  Strangely enough, no centipede has exactly 100 legs!  But, just about all of them are venomous, and can deliver very painful bites.  So don’t mess with them, folks.  They kinda give me the heebie jeebies anyway.  Cute Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
