Answer:  “ALL–TURN–ATIVE“

(Everybody likes good clean pun!  Right?  You can’t get any cleaner than wind and solar power.  Argue all you want about the viability and reliability, and the economy of renewable energy sources.  They are nonsensical arguments, and largely just part of a delaying tactic, by the fossil fuel industry.  Oilman, T. Boone Pickens, used to rail against renewables, but now is heavily invested in wind farms.

No new clue words today, but three of the jumbles came up as new.  We’ve seen “cante” before.  The answer letter layout was a marvelous jumble.  It did a great job of concealing the answer.  Because of the cartoon’s water, the dialog’s reference to the North Sea, and the clue/question, I was trying to come up with some variance of NAUTICAL.  Until I realized that there was no “C”!  It was a fairly challenging Jumble!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
