Clue/Question:  They wanted to learn more about Mount Rainier, so they – – –

Answer:  STUDIED UP ON IT

(Ooh! A difficult one!  And, more of a literal pun.  I found this one to be fairly challenging.  I figured two of the words had to be UP and IT, but didn’t know if the third two letter word was going to be TO or ON, for a bit.  DINUSED made me switch from TO to ON, and that’s when I saw STUDIED.

No new clue words today.  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with “rnidg” having definitely been used before.  The answer letter layout was a very cryptic thirteen letter jumble.

Great mountain top cartoon!  I remember how cold it was when we reached the top of Pikes Peak!  And, that was in the middle of August!  Elevation do matter.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
