(Today’s Jumble is infinitely punny!  I always enjoy the Jumbles where David and Jeff are clearly experimenting with hallucinogenic substances.  I don’t know if it’s LSD, or magic mushrooms, but it appears to be a pleasant trip.  Nothing is melting, or turning into a hideous creature, or anything!  Just stay away from the brown acid, guys!

All of today’s clue words are longtime members of the clue word establishment, man!  No new slang/lingo.  Three of the jumbles appear to be new, while we’ve definitely seen “tinyu” in previous Jumbles.  The answer letter layout was a nifty nine letter jumble.  I think the final answer slots, with their hyphens, were the big clue for me.

Great cartoon of the Eights checking in at the numbers spa/resort.  I think that the fives have already started their happy hour!  I like the desk clerk’s little bow tie, and his toupee.  I bet – like casino with no windows – they don’t allow clocks there.  Why would they want to look at working numbers?  A great way to end the work week.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
