(He better hope that she’s just “standoffish”, ’cause Lucy ain’t playing!  She will beat Calvin like a rug!  This was a great way for the guys to close out the week.  None of the clue words were new, but all of the jumbles were.  The answer letter layout was phenomenal!  I don’t think there was anything obvious about it, and I bet a good number of you struggled to get the answer.  I almost made it into an Uncle Rave’s Wiseguy of the Month contest, as I thought it was that good, but I don’t have the time or energy for those anymore.  The cartoon is great.  I really miss Calvin and Hobbes.  It was such a great comic strip.  I think Peanuts is all syndicated re-runs these days.  It’s very conventional, but it also has an endearing universal quality to it.  Have a great Memorial Day Weekend, friends.  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR
