Spam Message of the Year!

. . . Well, so far, at least!

SPAM! [don't buy]

Every single day I receive varying amounts of spam, which WordPress is very good about filtering out, from the legitimate comments.  Usually, the spam is full of complimentary praise, designed to get you to accept it.  But, it’s always so non-specific to the post that it’s allegedly commenting on, and the English is generally very suspect..  Other times the spam is just a mish-mosh of letters, numbers and symbols, mixed in with the occasional words and phrases.  However, every so often you get a spam message that doesn’t fit the mold.  I received this one the other day, and for some reason, I feel compelled to share it with all of you!

“if the buffalo in my head could speak german i would not know a god damm thing. What i do know is that the language of art is out of this world. 977229”   —   Wollin@aol.com

How wonderfully quirky!  It’s both strangely cryptic, and semi-poetic.  Again, the English – and the spelling – is very suspect, in parts, but it has a whimsical quality to it.  I have no idea whose email address this is, and very likely it has been cloned/hacked, but if someone wants to write to this person . . . feel free!  No, I’m just kidding!  You’d either be just adding to this person’s misery, or you might even open yourself up to being hacked/cloned.  Just enjoy this for the random nonsense that it is.  Be well, do good . . . and search for hidden beauty, friends.   —   YUR

Clue/Question:  When she asked if she would be able to get a seat on the next flight, she was told to . . .

Answer:  STAND BY

(Not bad, for a fried out aprés-Super Bowl XLVI Monday morn!  Eli and the G-Men took it to Brady and the Pitty Pats.  Congrats to the New York (Football) Giants, and their fans, everywhere!  Condolences to the chowder heads.  They put up a great fight, and the game could have gone the other way . . . but it didn’t.  My household is ecstatic!  I partially lost my voice, screaming at the – new? – rule that says it doesn’t matter if you’re forced out of bounds, you still need to get both feet in bounds on a catch!  When did they put that little injustice into the game?  No matter.  Manningham did get both feet in bounds, before being knocked out of bounds, so the point was moot!  THAT and when it was looking like Manning was going to take a third delay of game penalty!  Although, he did just barely beat the clock, I was losing it there.  That could have messed up the momentum, but fortunately they got the play off.  I’m getting too old for this crap, folks.  I’ll tell you one thing.  I bet Rex Ryan is kicking himself for cutting Danny Woodhead a few years ago.  That little man nearly won the game for the Pats.  He’s all of 5’7″, and he looks like he could be on your local high school team.  I was hoping the Bills would snatch him up, after the Jets released him, but Belichick & Co saw the kid’s talent first.  Tsk, tsk!

Good jumbling all around, but nothing too tough.  Two new words for the ralis95 database, in “buddy” and ” stormy”.  The answer letter layout gave nothing away.  Decent Jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  Click on the word “Pitty” if you’d like to hear a great rock band out of Brazil.  I’d never heard of her/them before, but they’ve been around for a few years, and apparently they are huge in Latin America.  Anyway, they kick ass!  If you do a Google Image search you’ll see that she looks like a Brazilian Amy Winehouse,

but hotter.  I’m going to have to put in a call to Caroline Corley and/or Jimmy Fink, to see if they can get them some airtime.  Looks like now I have another reason to want to go to Brazil!

(Nice send up to the Super Bowl, guys!  Good likeness of Lucas Oil Stadium, too.  Both of these Joes are pretty iconic.  Namath, maybe a little more for his charisma and chutzpa, and Montana, for his overall success and likability.  I’ll be rooting for the Giants this evening.  The Pats have been tabbed the favorites, but there seems to be more people pulling for the Giants.  Giants fans can’t be too confident, though, because Bill Belichick is as crafty a coach as there has ever been, and Brady is probably as tough as he is talented.  In addition to those two individuals New England’s talented tight ends have also proven to be major game changers. Giants fans hope that Gronkowski won’t be a big factor today.  Hopefully, it’s a competitive match.  No one likes a lopsided, runaway game.

None of today’s clue words are new to the ralis95 database.  I didn’t struggle with any of them, though the jumbling was great.  Also, the answer letter layout did not give anything away.  Not all that tough, but fun!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
