(Good fortune?  Don’t most of us realize that we’re going to miss someone before they’re actually gone?  Usually it’s a matter of liking/loving them, and/or respecting them.  You’re not likely to miss someone you don’t like or respect.  But, often times you just don’t realize what you had until it’s gone.  That secure feeling of belonging diminishes when you lose a parent, or other close elder relative.  You’ve lost a source of history and wisdom . . . and just belonging.  As social creatures, we have a need to feel that we belong.  Realize, and appreciate, what you belong to, friends.  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR
