PS.  I read a little while ago of Tommy Lasorda’s passing.  I wouldn’t have been surprised had today’s quote come from Tommy.  I was never a Dodgers’ fan, but I definitely think he was good for the game of baseball.  A seemingly great guy, who took a chance on a kid named Mike Piazza!  As a Mets fan, I’ll always be thankful for that.   —   YUR
