Clue/Question: When Yogi got sick before the show, he knew he’d have to . . .
Answer: GRIN AND BEAR IT
(That Yogi Bear is a real trooper, isn’t he?! He knows the old show biz adage: The show must go on! And, when he forgets . . . Boo Boo reminds him! I was always a big fan of Yogi Bear. I know I’m no genius, but I could always relate to “I’m smarter than the average bear!” Boo Boo didn’t really serve much of a purpose, accept to be Yogi’s conscience, I guess. Of course, Yogi always thought he knew better, and rarely listened to Boo Boo. But of course, if he had listened to Boo Boo he wouldn’t have gotten into so much trouble, and the show would have been a big yawn-fest.
All the clue words were well-jumbled, but I didn’t have a problem with any of them. ralis95 can add “bitten” to his clue word database. I wasn’t super crazy about the answer letter layout. If the “R” and “I” had been circled in “grief”, and the “A” and “G” in “agile” I think it would have been a little more cryptic and challenging. Great cartoon, though, and good use of the old idiom.
