Clue/Question: When they built the new roundabout, they pulled out – – –
Answer: ALL THE STOPS
(When I saw the traffic circle and the clown, my fist thought went to circus, as in Piccadilly Circus. But, Piccadilly’s not really a traffic circle, it’s more of a pedestrian circle. I saw it once, about 100 years ago! Having the reduced sized Jumble again this week, it was a little tough to make out all the detail. But, with the help of the light-up magnifying glass, that Carol gave Mom, I was able to see all. It’s a great pun though. Traffic circles can be very intimidating, to me. As long as you know where you’re going, you’re okay. But, if you have any question as to where you’re supposed to go, they can be pretty harry. If you are behind me, you better be prepared for me to stop, even if they’re designed to prevent stopping. No new clue words, and only two of the jumbles came up as new today. We’ve seen both “beata” and “lortl” before. Very nice job on the answer letter layout. Charmingly cryptic! And, a loaded cartoon! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
