Answer: “LEAVES“ OF ABSENCE
(An excellent autumnal pun! This has a nice ring of originality to it. There were no new clue words today, but four of the jumbles came up as new. We’ve definitely seen “nurado” and “seryds” before. The answer letter layout was a superb jumble, that did a great job of disguising the answer. The combination of the quotation marks, the cartoon leaves, and the use of the word “foliage”, made the first answer word fairly obvious to me. And the cartoon’s words “job” and “break” brought the rest of the pun to light. Fun cartoon. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
