Visual Description:  Fanatics of The Pine Tree State.

DNELB  =  BLEND,  PLIEM  =  IMPEL,  TAISCT  =  STATIC,  ALIYES  =  EASILY   —   Giving us:  ENMAICASI

Clue/Question:  People from Bangor who get carried away with their state pride are . . .

Answer:  MAINEIACS

(Wonderful pun!  Do I hear Frank Witzel groaning?  Very fun cartoon, filled with Maine-ish clues.  Most of the clue words were very well jumbled.  I say most because “blend” was simply spelled backwards.  I love the word “impel”, though I probably never use it, but it’s great for Jumbles and crossword puzzles.  I thought “easily” was well-jumbled.  Not super tough, but just mixed up nicely.  The word “static” is new to the ralis95 clue word database.  Some might argue that the letters could also spell attics, but even though certain words are allowed to end in S, it does NOT apply to plural nouns, as attics would be.  The answer letter layout was great.  I thought today’s answer was pretty obvious, but as I checked the viewing stats for today, I see that a good number of people are/were having trouble getting it.  You just never know.  I guess it makes no never mind.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  My mom loves Maine Coons!  She had one for a number of years.  He was a wild kitten, but he mellowed out nicely.  He didn’t “meow” like other cats.  He had this throaty staccato sound.  Kind of like ack ack ack.  Big cat, with lots of character.   —   YUR
