Visual Description: Clutzy clock makers?
TIWYT = WITTY, TCEHF = FETCH, SWOYLL = SLOWLY, MRAHEM = HAMMER — Giving us: ITFETSOWAME
Clue/Question: When all the clocks were found to be defective, it was a – – –
Answer: WASTE OF TIME
(Boy, I’ll say. Not particularly “witty”. A little far-“fetch”ed that anyone would make a clock with sixty-five minutes to an hour. Getting the answer came anything but “slowly”. The trash can and the recycle statement really “hammer”ed this one home! LOL!
No new clue words on this day. Three of the jumbles appear to be new, with “tiwyt” having been used some time before. The answer letter layout was a wonderful jumble. By itself, it might have made the answer a little tougher to get.
A fine goofy cartoon though. I’m sure it would be lost on the reduced size Jumbles, but it looks like all the clocks show 26:00. I guess if you added 5 minutes to every hour you’d end up with two additional hours to the day. This might be a good Jumble to teach young children math, and time. That Alie Ward is a saucy little redhead! Re: the top pic. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
