Answer:  PULLING FOR THEM

(Of course he was.  It’s his team!  And, sometimes you pull for a team that’s competing against your rival.  As I’m pulling for Green Bay to beat the Jets!  You’ve got to root for your team, no matter what!  All of the jumbling was fairly challenging today.  And we even had a new word, causing a “ruckus”.  Our good friend, ralis95, will need to add this to his famous clue word database.  The answer letter layout was very well thought out.  It gave nothing away, and was a great jumble in its own right.  The cartoon does a fine job of illustrating both the physical and mental tension of the event.  Very satisfying Sunday Jumble, folks.  Enjoy the brief remainder of your weekends, friends.  Be well and do good.)   —   YUR
